Who we are

What Silent Partner is — and isn’t

Silent Partner is a self-reflection and wellbeing companion. It is not therapy, not medical or mental-health care, and not a crisis service. If you’re in crisis or in danger, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line right away (we show these in the app).

What we collect

• Your email — to sign you in.
• What you tell it — your messages, and the profile it builds with you over time (patterns, wins, reminders, your preferences).
• Basic technical info needed to run the service (e.g. error logs that do not contain your conversation content).

How we use it

Only to provide the service: the app uses your messages and profile to respond to you and to remember you. That’s it.

Where your data lives, and being honest about access

Your data is stored in a private database (Supabase) and the app is hosted on Vercel. It is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted to your own account. To be straight with you: this is not end-to-end encrypted — the system reads your messages in order to respond, and our small team can access data when genuinely needed to run, support, or debug the service. We treat that access seriously and keep it minimal.

Third parties that help features work

• Anthropic (the AI that powers the conversation) — receives your messages and profile to generate responses.
• Deepgram (speech-to-text) — receives your voice recordings to transcribe them.

These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the service. We do not sell your data to anyone.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell your data.
• We don’t use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
• We don’t use your conversations to train AI models. (If we ever offer research or model-improvement, it will be opt-in, off by default, and clearly asked first.)

Your choices

You can export or delete your data at any time, or email us with any question or request.

Age

Silent Partner is for adults 18 and older.

We’ll update this policy as the product grows; the “last updated” date above will change.
